Churchville Shed Fire Under Investigation

Shed blaze caused heat damage to nearby home, Harford County fire officials said.

Churchville, MD — A nearby home was damaged when a shed broke out in flames in Churchville Tuesday morning, officials said.

At 10:20 a.m., crews from Level, Bel Air and Darlington responded to the 2900 block of Whitefield Road, where a shed was ablaze, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

Firefighters quickly brought the situation under control, and nobody was injured.

There was minor heat damage to a home exposed to the blaze, Gardiner said.

The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the shed fire.
