Cold Case In Bel Air: Officials Seek Tips About Homicide Victim
Officials in Harford County are asking for help identifying a man found dead in a ditch in Bel Air in 1987.

BEL AIR, MD — Authorities are asking for help identifying a man found dead in a ditch more than 30 years ago in Bel Air. Officials described the victim as an Asian man who was 20 to 30 years old.
When officials found him in a ditch off MD 24 in Bel Air, they said he had been tied up with rope, covered in plastic wrap and shrouded with a bed sheet.
The body was found on Jan. 9, 1987.

According to officials, the victim was 5 feet 7 inches tall and 134 pounds.
"Today, 32 years later, we are still attempting to identify him and locate his killer," the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported last week. "Detectives from the Harford County Sheriff's Office continue to investigate this cold case, and hope to identify him and bring his killers to justice."
