Consider a Career as a Nail Technician
The 250 total hours of instruction include theory, demonstration, and practical application.
The Nail Technician Program at Harford Community College begins each fall with Nail Tech I. Nail Tech II and III are offered in the spring semester, with the program finishing in June. Approved by the Maryland State Department of Education, participants prepare to apply for the state required examination to become a licensed manicurist. The 250 total hours of instruction include theory, demonstration, and practical application. Students must register for Nail Technician 1 before August 31, 2016. Tuition assistance may be available to those who qualify through the Susquehanna Workforce Network. Employment in the field is estimated to grow by 10% over this decade.
