County Executive Cassilly Invites Public Participation on Local Boards

Harford County Executive Bob Cassilly on Tuesday invited citizens interested in serving on county boards and commissions to submit their applications online.

“With a variety of subject matters overseen by County volunteers through boards and commissions, a wide range of service opportunities is available for our citizens to contribute their time and expertise”, County Executive Cassilly said. “I am grateful for the many individuals who have served over the years and invite existing participants along with new individuals to apply.”

For some boards and commissions, County law establishes specific guidelines and qualifications for membership. The County Executive’s appointments are subject to review and confirmation by the Harford County Council.

Current board and commission members who wish to continue serving must also apply.
