COVID-19 Restrictions And Summer Plans: Take Our Maryland Survey
As summer gets closer, Patch wants to know your thoughts about Maryland's COVID-19 restrictions, how you feel about vacations, and more.

MARYLAND — With summer approaching and coronavirus restrictions easing, Marylanders may be resuming their traditional activities.
Do you have plans to spend a week at the beach? Maybe you feel comfortable gathering for a friend's barbecue, a graduation ceremony or wedding.
To date, more than 36 percent of Marylanders have received a single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine or two doses of a two-shot COVID-19 vaccine. Children under age 16 are not eligible yet.

Gov. Larry Hogan lifted all restrictions on outdoor dining, effective May 1.

"My plan is [to] get things back to normal by Memorial Day, which is coming up very soon," Hogan said at a news conference Tuesday, May 4.
With vaccination progress and health metrics in mind, we want to survey readers on their thoughts about COVID-19 restrictions and summer activities like vacations. The survey will be open from noon on Wednesday, May 5, through Monday, May 10.
A results story will be shared after the survey closes. The survey is not meant to be a scientific poll, but it is only designed to give a broad idea of public sentiment.
