Pedestrian Killed In I-95 Crash In Harford County: Police
One person died in a crash Wednesday night on Interstate 95 near the MD 24 exit, according to Maryland State Police.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A pedestrian was killed on Interstate 95 south Wednesday night in Harford County. Because of the fatal crash, I-95 south was closed for about four hours in the area.
The deadly collision occurred on I-95 south near the exit for MD 24 shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by medical personnel, Maryland State Police reported.
Based on the preliminary investigation, police said that the pedestrian was in the fast lane on I-95 south when hit near mile marker 77. The driver remained at the scene, and officials said they found a disabled vehicle registered to the victim north of the crash site.

The identity of the victim was not being released Thursday morning because next of kin had not been notified, according to officials.
Southbound lanes were closed on I-95 until approximately 2:05 a.m.

The incident occurred on I-95 south at the exit for MD 24 around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, according to state transportation officials.
A pedestrian was killed in the crash near MD 24, according to WJZ, which reported the driver remained at the scene.
Southbound lanes were closed on I-95, and traffic was detoured at MD 24 for the police investigation, the Maryland Transportation Authority reported after 10:15 p.m.
By 2:05 a.m., authorities said all lanes on I-95 south had reopened.
Maryland State Police is investigating the deadly crash.
