US 1 Reopens After Crash At Route 24: Officials

The intersection of Route 1 was blocked temporarily as authorities handled a crash at Route 24, state transportation officials said.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Part of US 1 was closed in Harford County due to a crash at the intersection with MD 24, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration. Two vehicles were involved in the crash, officials said.

The crash occurred before 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23, according to state transportation officials.

All lanes were closed on Route 1 north at Route 24, state highway officials reported before 10 p.m. The right lane was also closed on Route 24 south.

After 11:30 p.m., transportation officials reported the road had reopened.
