Bel Air Musicians Among Darlington Apple Festival Entertainers
The festival lineup includes music, food, apple pie contest and other entertainment.

October is here, and that means one thing: the Darlington Apple Festival.
Annually, the celebration draws crowds to Darlington for a celebration of autumn that includes apples, music, crafts and family friendly fun.
Onstage entertainment includes the following:

- 10 a.m.—Flash Point barbershop quartet of Harford County
- 11 a.m.—Voodoo rock band
- 11:45 a.m.—Apple pie contest winners announced
- Noon— Gospel Travelers
- 1 p.m.— Across the Track bluegrass band of Aberdeen
- 2 p.m.— The Oak Grove Quartet of Bel Air
- 3 p.m.— One-Eyed Jacks rock band from Rising Sun
Bring your appetite! There will be pit beef, barbecue, seafood, apple fritters, apple cake, candy apples and other other food for sale.
Kids can take hayrides or stuff their own scarecrows in the children’s area, according to Harford County Tourism, which reports pets are not allowed with the exception of service dogs.

The Darlington Apple Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4. It’s located in Darlington, off MD Route 161/Darlington Road.
