Darlington Independence Day Celebration Set for Saturday
The 2016 Fourth of July parade and fireworks will take off June 25 in Darlington.
DARLINGTON, MD — The Fourth of July comes early in Darlington, and this year is no exception.
The town's annual Independence Day Parade and Celebration will be on Saturday, June 25.

- Parade lineup starts at 4 p.m.
- Parade starts at 5:30 p.m.
- Live entertainment and food vendors will be on tap, and parade winners will be announced.
- Fireworks begin at dusk.
The parade will begin at the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company, 2600 Castleton Road, Darlington.
Fireworks will be visible from Francis Silver Park, 2124 Shuresville Road, Darlington. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to watch.

The parade was canceled in 2015 due to rain that was forecast. Check the forecast for Darlington here. So far, the National Weather Service is predicting sunny skies and a high of 83 degrees on Saturday.
