Darlington Vehicle Fire Was Arson, Fire Marshal Says

A car fire in Darlington is being investigated as arson, the Office of the State Fire Marshal reported.
At 12:45 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20, a resident in the 3400 block of Cedar Church Road in Darlington reported that a car in front of the residence was ablaze, according to the fire marshal.
It took six Darlington firefighters approximately 20 minutes to put out the blaze, which began in the interior passenger compartment of a 1992 Acura, the fire marshal reported.

There was $500 in damage as a result of the fire, according to the report.
The fire marshal determined the blaze was intentionally set and is asking anyone with information to contact the Bel Air Office of the State Fire Marshal at 410-836-4844.
