David E. Bourckel Sr., 79, of Bel Air
Obituary and service information from Evans Funeral Chapel.

David E. Bourckel Sr., 79, of Bel Air joined his Savior and beloved wife Elva, family and friends in the afterlife on Thursday, July 30, 2015. Having lived a fruitful and productive life, he left behind a son David E. Bourckel, Jr. and his wife Giovanna, and a loving daughter Elva L. Everett and her husband Randy. He was the grandfather of Michael & Christopher Bourckel, and Jay “JR” and Samantha Heiser. He was also the dear brother of Donald Bourckel & wife Chrissy, Patricia Peters and her husband Jack, John Bourckel, and Larry Bourckel and his wife Vicki, and also survived by his loving KY Family.
An avid sport fan of the Ravens and Orioles, Bourckel’s energy and enthusiasm for “his” favorite teams was only surpassed by his sincere and heartfelt devotion to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which he served faithfully at Forest Ridge Baptist Church. A dedicated family man, his greatest joys involved family activities with his beloved Elva. A former U.S. Marine and retired over the road hauler and school bus driver, David was loved by all who came in contact with him.
Family and friends will honor David’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services – Bel Air, 3 Newport Drive (Routes 23 & 24), in Forest Hill on Friday, Aug. 7, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
