Come explore music inspired by the four seasons. The concert will begin with a cycle of Chinese folk songs representing the four seasons followed by varied selections depicting Spring and Summer. Following intermission, the colors of Autumn will come alive before the snow and celebrations of the winter season arrive. Composers from Monteverdi, Lauridsen, Rutter, Rodgers and Hammerstein to Holst, Berlin and Gershwin will create a unique musical portrait of the seasons of the year.
