Did You Feel That? APG Says Testing May Be Felt In Community

The military installation in Harford County will be conducting tests that community members may hear or feel, APG officials advise.

ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, MD — Those around Aberdeen Proving Ground may notice exercises taking place this week, officials say. The noise or vibrations from the test may be felt or heard outside the military installation, officials said in a statement to alert the community.

The testing is scheduled for the daytime hours, according to authorities from APG, who said the test will take place from Tuesday, June 12, to Friday, June 15.

The exercises are not hazardous to residents and are essential to the mission of the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command's mission at the Aberdeen Test Center, authorities reported.
