Dognapping in Bel Air, Reward Offered: Sheriff
A golden retriever was snatched from his kennel in Bel Air, Harford County Sheriff's Office reports.
BEL AIR, MD - Authorities say that someone stole “Sparky” the dog from a kennel in Bel Air, and there is a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information.
The 3-year-old golden retriever was in a kennel on West Medical Hall Road at the time of his apprehension, according to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office.
Sparky was last seen at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8, the sheriff’s office reported.

He is microchipped and had his ID and rabies tags on when he was taken, according to the report.

A cash reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information. To be eligible, tipsters must use one of the following methods for submitting tips: send a tip online through Harford County Sheriff’s Office; text the tip to Metro Crime Stoppers at 274637 with “MCS” plus the message; or call Harford Crime Solvers at 1-888-540-8477.
