3 Ways To Help Edgewood Shooting Victims
Those who want to help the victims and their families in the Edgewood shootings can donate online, in person or over the phone.

EDGEWOOD, MD - A donation drive has been set up to help the Edgewood shooting victims and their families. Advanced Granite Solutions, the business where the violence occurred, is organizing it.
Three died and two were critically injured when Radee Prince, 37, opened fire before 9 a.m. Wednesday at the countertop business where he worked in Emmorton Business Park, authorities said. He was apprehended approximately 10 hours later after injuring a sixth person in a shooting in Wilmington, Delaware. As of Thursday, Prince was being held in Delaware on $2.1 million bond.
Advanced Granite Solutions convened a press conference Thursday afternoon in the 2100 block of Emmorton Park Road to announce the donation drive.

“We have received an overwhelming amount of love and support from this community, and we wanted to make sure that it was as easy as possible for businesses and citizens to donate in one central location," said Lauren Arikan, acting as spokesperson for Advanced Granite Solutions, at the event.
To that end, she announced a website, physical drop-off location and phone number people can use to donate.

To give monetary donations, the Edgewooddonations.com website directs people to GoFundMe. The campaign page has the following statement:
"The AGS family would like to help coordinate the fundraising effort for the victims of the tragedy and their family's. More details are coming on the conditions of victims. As of right now, three men lost their lives and two people are in critical condition at shock trauma. These families will face tremendous emotional and financial hardship in the coming months. Any contribution will make a huge impact. A small board of local volunteers will help distribute all donations to those in need. Thank you all for your kindness and the outpouring of support and love."
In person, people who would like to donate can take items to Harford Property Services at 424 North Union Avenue in Havre de Grace. The owner of that company, J.D. Russell, said at a press conference Thursday that he has done business with Advanced Granite Solutions since 2011 and wanted to help.
For those who would prefer to use the phone, donors may call 410-881-4646.
"Everybody is struggling," said Arikan. "We’re really happy to have such a great community out here supporting us and lifting us up."
