​Dophny Verona McFarlane, 82, Of Joppa

Dophny Verona McFarlane, 82, of Joppa, passed away on March 15, at her home. Born in Westmoreland, Jamaica, she was the daughter of the late George McFarlane and Eulalie Isabel (Crooks) Graham. She loved to cook, travel and host family events.

Dophny is survived by two daughters, Claudine Jones and Francine Whittington; two sons, Patrick Doyley and Eardley Campbell; daughters-in-law Patricia Doyley and Velma Campbell; sons-in-law Reginald Whittington and Willard Jones; sister, Pearline Miller; grandchildren, Oneil Doyley, Gary Pinnock, Dillon Doyley, Akeem Doyley, Afrian Doyley, Cameron Doyley, Melissa Jones, Toni-May Jones, Langston Whittington, Johnathan Whittington, Crystal Campbell and Eardley Campbell, Jr.; and 13 great-grandchildren, Adriel, Alana, Ashton, Brianna, Cheyenne, Jaden, Jayden, Kayla, Keavon, Khloe, King, Konner and Mahalia.

Visitation will be from noon to 4 p.m. on Friday, March 23, at McComas Funeral Home, P.A. (Abingdon), 1317 Cokesbury Road, Abingdon, MD 21009. A service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at the same location.
