On Saturday, April 18, 2015, Douglas “Doug” Kirby, age 49 of Jarrettsville.
Doug worked extensively in the field of HVAC, working 15 years for A.J. Michaels and several more as a self-employed technician.
In his free time, Doug was an avid classic car enthusiast which led him to acquire his prized 1974 Dodge Challenger.

He was the cherished son of Beverly and the late John Kirby; loving husband of Paula Kirby; devoted father of Douglas Blair Kirby and Angela Brooke Kirby; proud grandfather of Skylar Brooke Kirby – Scott, and caring brother of Debbie Varsubsky and husband Marty, Pam Boore and husband Curtis, and Bradd Kirby. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Doug’s life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services – Bel Air, 3 Newport Dr. (Routes 23 and 24 – Forest Hill) on Wednesday, April 22, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where a funeral service will be held Thursday, April 23, beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
