Driver Hit 15-Year-Old Girl, Drove Away in Jarrettsville: Police

Maryland State Police from the Bel Air Barrack seek info on hit-and-run driver from Monday crash.

JARRETTSVILLE, MD — Troopers are asking for help finding the driver in a hit-and-run crash involving a 15-year-old girl Monday evening in Jarrettsville.

A dark blue BMW going through the intersection of MD 165/Baldwin Mill Road at Jarrettsville Road allegedly hit the teen and did not stop, according to Maryland State Police. The crash occurred at approximately 5 p.m. on Monday, police said.

Witnesses said that a white man with dark hair was driving the BMW, and he continued driving south after hitting the girl, according to police.

The victim had non life-threatening injuries and was at fault, according to The Aegis, which reported she was crossing the street to go to Subway.
