DUI Checkpoint In Harford County Slated For Saturday
The Harford County Sheriff's Office plans a DUI checkpoint Saturday night.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Drivers have one more reason to be sober on the road Saturday night in Harford County.
The Harford County Sheriff's Office is conducting a checkpoint for driving while intoxicated during the evening hours of Saturday, Nov. 14.
The location of the checkpoint was not disclosed.

By law, authorities have to announce the sobriety checkpoint in advance.
In a Supreme Court case about the 4th and 14th Amendments, the court ruled that citizens' rights against unlawful search and seizure are not violated if checkpoints are publicized in advance.
