Economic Analysis of Harford County Presented Oct. 21 in Aberdeen
The public is invited to attend a presentation on economic conditions and opportunities in Harford County at Aberdeen High School.

The public is invited to attend a presentation on economic conditions and opportunities in Harford County, hosted by the Department of Economic Development during Harford County Economic Development Week.
The presentation by independent consultants from Matrix Design Group will be held from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21 in the auditorium at Aberdeen High School. Matrix will discuss their findings and make recommendations based on their analysis of economic data and interviews with local stakeholders.
The interviews were conducted in April and May and included business owners, defense contractors, Economic Development Advisory Board members, municipal economic development leaders, farmers, chambers of commerce representatives, and healthcare officials to identify strengths and challenges of Harford’s economy and future opportunities.

Colorado-based Matrix was selected to conduct the independent analysis through a competitive procurement process as part of Harford County’s partnership in Grow Rural Opportunity in Maryland, funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration. The grant is intended to facilitate collaboration among Carroll, Frederick and Harford counties in pursuit of regional economic growth.
