Edgewood 7-Eleven Held Up by Masked Man: VIDEO

Officials said the suspect was in the store before the robbery, captured on surveillance without mask.

EDGEWOOD, MD – After a man robbed the 7-Eleven in Edgewood at gunpoint Wednesday morning, the Harford County Sheriff's Office is asking for help identifying the suspect.

Authorities said that the man walked into the store in the 1000 block of Gateway Road in Edgewood at approximately 4 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, and showed he had a handgun.

Then he demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes, according to the sheriff's office.

Before the robbery, officials said they believed the man was inside the store as well. Surveillance footage provided by the sheriff's office shows the suspect before and during the holdup.

The suspect is described as 6' tall, 160 pounds and 19 to 25 years old. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a white mask, black jacket and purple hat, officials said.
