Edgewood Creamery In Harford County Burglarized, Video Shows

Surveillance video shared on social media showed someone throw two rocks through the business' glass door before slipping inside.

EDGEWOOD, MD — The owner of Edgewood Creamery in Harford County is asking for the public's help after sharing a video of someone robbing the ice cream business earlier this week.

According to the owner, the shop was burglarized around 1 a.m. Wednesday. Surveillance video showed a person wearing a hooded camouflage coat throw two rocks through the glass door before slipping inside.

The business later posted a new video showing an updated photo of the suspect, captioning it with, "Help us identify!"

The owner said the suspect stole the cash register before fleeing.

"Good news is there was nothing in the register," the owner said. "The bad news is it broke our door."

Edgewood Creamery plans to offer window service only in the days following the burglary.

The owner thanked the community for their support.

"I love the community, obviously, I work here I live here and thank you for supporting us the last two years."

The Harford County Sheriff's Office is investigating, according to a WMAR report. No arrests have been made.
