Edgewood Homicide Victim Identified
Investigators say the man who died in shooting in Edgewood over the weekend was from Baltimore.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The man who died in a shooting in Edgewood Sunday has been named. The Harford County Sheriff's Office released the victim's identity Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Deandre Sellers, 27, of Baltimore, was killed Sunday, Sept. 29, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
A motive and suspect information have not been released in the case, in which Sellers was shot multiple times.

Law enforcement officials said deputies were called to the 1900 block of Edgewater Drive around 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, for a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, officers said they found Sellers suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, where authorities said he died.

Investigators think the shooting was targeted, so there is "no greater safety concern to the community," Harford County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Cristie Hopkins told The Aegis Monday.
"The investigation continues," officials said in a statement Tuesday. "No further information is available at this time."
