Another neighbor posted about the closure as well, prompting a slew of comments from disappointed diners.

"Say it isn't so! My husband and I love Einsteins," Maureen Stark wrote. "I hope they find a new home and reopen soon."

Others lamented the loss of the employees and service.

"We used Einstein Bagel to provide catering service for our organization," Al Woltz wrote. "I'll miss you guys."

Boston Market has a restaurant that remains open next door. Readers shared that Boston Market owns the lease.

"We can confirm that have entered into an agreement to add a Corner Bakery Café in the Marketplace Drive space," Slaton Smith, chief marketing officer for Boston Market, told Patch Tuesday. "Corner Bakery Café is working hard to open this new location as quickly as possible."

HR Retail, which manages the Tollgate Marketplace shopping center, declined to comment.
