One Person Ejected in Joppa Crash: Officials

Three people were hospitalized from crash off Mountain Road on Christmas Eve, according to officials.

JOPPA, MD — A crash on Saturday night in Joppa sent three people to area hospitals with traumatic injuries, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

One person was ejected from a vehicle, the fire company reported, after responding to Greenspring Avenue at Mountain Road/MD 152 for a crash around 5:45 p.m. on Christmas Eve.

A medevac was reportedly unavailable to respond to the collision. Two Joppa-Magnolia ambulances took victims to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, and one ambulance from the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company went to the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
