An electrical fire sparked a blaze at an Edgewood townhouse, according to the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.

EDGEWOOD, MD — A townhouse located in the 1900 block of Brookside Drive in Edgewood caught on fire Thursday.

According to firefighters with the Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, an electrical fire ignited between the second and third floor bedrooms. It took them 10 minutes to reign in the blaze.

No injuries were reported but five people were displaced. Five fire departments and county rescue workers responded to help, according to the fire company.
