March 13, 2020 – Emergency Food for HCPS Students

Harford County Public Schools (HCPS) has four Title I Schools that have school pantries that the Harford Community Action Agency (HCAA) actively works with. The schools are: Bakerfield Elementary, Halls Cross Roads Elementary, Edgewood Elementary, and Magnolia Elementary.

Due to the looming COVID-19 (Coronavirus) related school shutdown (March 16th-27th), HCAA is putting together Family Bags of food as quickly as we can, and will be delivering them to these schools TODAY (March 13th).

It is our goal to provide 75 – 100 students in need with food to help them through this difficult time. As a result, the stock at the HCAA Food Pantry will be greatly diminished.

Your donation to our Virtual Food Drive will help us replenish this much needed resource for Harford County’s less fortunate.
