Responsible Dog Ownership Day is sponsored locally by the
Northeastern Maryland Kennel Club. The general public is invited to participate in the activities, programs and services that support responsible dog ownership in a fun and educational manner. We have live demonstrations such as a Harford County Sheriff’s K9 team, Canine Freestyle Dancing, Agility, Rally and Obedience. We offer microchipping, rabies clinic, dental checks, dog CPR and First Aid as well as a “Ask the Vets” booth to encourage canine health. Dogs can also earn their Canine Good Citizen certificate. We host rescue groups, local County services, and search and rescue groups. We also have commercial vendors and food vendors. Rain or shine. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
