Representatives of SECU's Lending Quality Assurance and Risk Management departments will be participating in a foreclosure prevention workshop sponsored by Congressman C. A. Dutch Ruppersberger. SECU and Congressman Ruppersberger share a common goal to keep as many Marylanders in their homes as possible. To that end, SECU and other lenders will meet with homeowners who are in danger of foreclosure. One-on-one discussions will detail options such as refinancing and property tax deferral, as well as federal programs designed to help homeowners who are struggling to make mortgage payments.
