“Teach Your Children Well: Basic Financial Education” is the topic of the Women’s Financial Education Group on April 21, 2011. Lenora C. Hammett, MBA a longtime financial advisor with Ameriprise located in Bel Air, will facilitate the meeting.
The Women’s Financial Education Conversation Group, formally known as Harford County Purse Group, is a gathering of women who are interested in increasing their financial literacy.
The group meets every third Thursday at Bel Air Barnes and Noble, 620 Marketplace Drive, Bel Air, MD 21014 at 7 p.m. For the month of April the topics will range from handling allowances, developing a balanced budget, setting and saving for financial goals, and building a college fund.
