The adoption fee for cats and kittens has been reduced at the Humane Society of Harford County.

FALLSTON, MD — In a recent three-day period, the Humane Society of Harford County took in more than 60 cats. The influx occurred before Memorial Day, and now the shelter is reducing the adoption fee for cats and kittens to help them find accommodations.

The adoption fee is now $25, the shelter announced this week.

Previously, adopting cats and kittens ranged from $45 to $125.
