Fire Causes $600K In Damage At Belcamp Townhouse, Displaces 9: MD Fire Marshal
A fire caused $600K in damage a Belcamp townhouse, which ended up displacing 9 residents from 3 townhouses total, the MD fire marshal said.

BELCAMP, MD — A townhouse caught on fire late Tuesday morning in Belcamp, leaving nine residents without a home.
The fire broke out shortly after 11 a.m. April 15 at 4301 Perkins Place. The fire started on the rear deck of a two-story, end of the group townhouse and affected a total of three units. Forty-five firefighters with the Joppa-Magnolia VFC/Abingdon Fire Company battled the blaze for 20 minutes before gaining control, according to the state fire marshal's office.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation and caused an estimated $600,000 in damage. Harford County Disaster Assistance and Red Cross are assisting the nine residents.
