Fire Hydrant Clipped In Moores Mill Road Crash: Bel Air VFC

A fire hydrant was involved in a crash in Bel Air Thursday afternoon, according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

BEL AIR, MD — A crash on Moores Mill Road Thursday afternoon prompted a response from fire and public works crews, according to authorities. The collision occurred in the 1300 block of Moores Mill Road, officials said.

The driver declined services from emergency medical personnel, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

The Department of Public Works would be replacing the hydrant, which Gardiner said was sheared off in the crash.
