Fire Marshal Determines Cause of Prospect Mill Blaze
The fire in Bel Air Tuesday was ruled accidental, Maryland fire marshal reported.

A fire that broke out in two sheds on Prospect Mill Road in Bel Air Tuesday was caused by an electrical malfunction and resulted in $20,000 in damage, the Office of the State Fire Marshal reported.
At 2:41 p.m. on Tuesday, a neighbor alerted authorities to the fire in the 1400 block of Prospect Mill Road behind a residence, the report said.
Two wooden sheds were ablaze, according to the report.

Approximately 30 firefighters—from Bel Air, Level and Darlington—responded, bringing the fire under control within 20 minutes, the report said.
The blaze caused $10,000 in structural damage, according to the fire marshal, who reported that $10,000 worth of items inside the sheds was also lost.

The fire marshal determined the fire was accidental and began inside the sheds.
