Fire at Upper Chesapeake Involved Equipment: Bel Air Officials
The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company reports it handled small blaze near lab at medical center.
Bel Air firefighters were called to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center Sunday afternoon, where a small fire broke out in an equipment room near the cath lab, according to the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.
The fire was contained to pieces of equipment within the equipment room at the medical center, located in the 500 block of Upper Chesapeake Drive in Bel Air, the the fire company reported.
Nobody was injured as a result of the fire, according to the fire company, which said after 2 p.m. that crews were ventilating smoke that remained in the building.
