Firefighters Called To House Fire In Joppa
A road was closed in Joppa Tuesday night during the emergency response, officials said.
JOPPA, MD — Smoke was visible at a house in Joppa Tuesday evening, according to fire officials. Joppa Farm Road was closed for the emergency response, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported.
At 7:01 p.m., the fire company said its personnel were in the 1200 block of Joppa Farm Road, where smoke was showing from a single-story home.
Officials said that Joppa Farm Road was closed between MD 7 and US 40 for the response to the house fire.
