Firefighters Converge to Battle Barn Fire Off Norrisville Road

Crews from Baltimore County to York County responded to assist.

A barn fire off Norrisville Road drew firefighters from around the region Friday afternoon, according to officials.

At 1:30 p.m., crews were dispatched the 5100 block of Jolly Acres Road near White Hall, where a barn was ablaze, said Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

As of 3 p.m., Jolly Acres Road was closed between Green Road and MD 23/Norrisville Road to allow firefighters the space needed for water supply operations, according to Gardiner.
