First Thursday in Edgewood to Deliver Live Music, Fresh Produce

The event features 'Music by the MARC' in south Harford County.

The MARC station in Edgewood will be bustling with vendors and musicians on Thursday, Sept. 4, for a monthly festival celebrating local flavor.

On the first Thursday of the month from June to October, the ”First Thursday” festival kicks off the month with a smattering of fresh produce, live music and vendors. This month features “Music by the MARC,” organizers say.

A canned food drive will also be happening, to benefit the Lord of Life Church, which is now offering a food pantry for those in need.

The event is sponsored by the Edgewood Community Council, Harford County Cultural Arts Board and Southern County Magazine. The rain date is the third Thursday in September, or Sept. 18.

Edgewood’s First Thursday is from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, at the Edgewood MARC station, 21222 Old Edgewood Road.
