Flood Warning, Wires Down In Harford County
BREAKING: Drivers should avoid the area of Route 22 near John Carroll and turn around Thursday night if they come across flooded roads.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for northeastern Harford County. The weather service said up to 2 inches of rain had fallen in the area by 7:15 p.m., with an additional inch possible before the end of the evening.
The flood warning is in effect until 11:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6. Darlington and Scarboro may experience flooding, according to the National Weather Service.
In addition to the flooding, there is another hazard drivers should be aware of Thursday evening. Wires are down in the 700 block of Churchville Road near Bynum Pond and John Carroll, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association. Drivers should try to avoid the area.

During a flood warning, flooding is imminent or occurring. Drivers should turn around if they come across flooded roads, and pedestrians should not attempt to walk through flood waters.
