Forest Hill Building Fire Controlled Friday Morning: Bel Air VFC

Heavy smoke was coming from the roof of a building north of Bel Air Friday morning, authorities reported.

FOREST HILL, MD — Fire broke out at a commercial building near Bel Air Friday morning, officials said.

At 6:07 a.m., crews from Bel Air and other agencies responded to the blaze in the 100 block of Industry Lane.

After finding heavy smoke from the roof, they brought the blaze under control within about 90 minutes, according to Rich Gardiner of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause, Gardiner said.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
