Forest Hill Heat And Churchville Curve Win APGFCU’s 2017 Community Invitational

APGFCU hosted its 13th annual Community Invitational tournament for local youth softball and baseball teams at Ripken Stadium.

ABERDEEN, MD — Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) hosted its 13th annual Community Invitational tournament for local youth softball and baseball teams on Sunday, May 21, 2017, at the Ripken Youth Baseball Academy in Aberdeen.

Eight 11-under and 12-under recreational council teams from Harford County participated in this grand slam tournament, allowing many of them an unprecedented opportunity for tournament play at Ripken Stadium.

Teams played in double-elimination rounds. The top two scoring teams from each sport went on to play final championship games. Trophies were awarded to all players on the first-place and second-place teams.

Joppatown Xplosion – Second place
