Forest Hill House Fire Sends Firefighter to Hospital: Official
Several Harford County fire companies responded to blaze on Christmas morning.

One firefighter was injured in a Christmas morning house fire in Forest Hill, according to officials.

Between 3 and 4 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 25, multiple Harford County crews responded to a residential blaze in the 2400 block of Edwards Manor, said Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

There was fire in the basement of the home when firefighters arrived, the Jarrettsville Volunteer Fire Company reported.
In addition to Jarrettsville, first responders from Fallston and Bel Air responded to the incident, the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company reported.

Due to a minor leg injury, one firefighter was taken to a local hospital, according to Gardiner.
The Office of the State Fire Marshal was investigating the cause, Gardiner said.
