A Series of Adventures for Young Children and Parents

Make New Friends at Harford Day School! Join us for A Series of Adventures for Young Children and Parents. Register for individual classes or come to all 5 sessions Tuesdays, January 26, through February 23, 2016! Classes are FREE but advance registration at www.harfordday.org is required. Week 1: Mama Bear Yoga (Tuesday, 1/26/16 @ 9:30 AM)

Mama Bear Yoga classes combine yoga poses, songs, games, and creative movement, all centered around a theme to inspire creativity, as well as promote physical and social-emotional development. Get ready for a wild good time!

Week 2: Do-Re-Wee Music Academy (Tuesday, 2/2/16 @ 9:30AM)

The Do-Re-Wee Music Academy is an early childhood music program that offers toddlers & preschoolers and their accompanying adult a quality introduction to music in a fun-filled group setting through songs, rhythm & rhyme, instruments, dance and more.

Week 3: The Creative Cow (Tuesday, 2/9/16 @ 9:30 AM)

The Creative Cow will provide an open-ended, child-directed Valentine activity focusing on process over product! Your child will create a one of a kind masterpiece using both traditional and unexpected art materials.

Week 4: Fit4Mom (Tuesday, 2/16/16 @ 9:30 AM)

Stroller Strides (Fit4Mom) is a total fitness program that moms can do with their child. It includes power walking and intervals of strength and body toning exercises using exercise tubing, the stroller, and the environment (indoors for this session).

Week 5: Ladew Gardens Nature Storytime (Tuesday, 2/23/16 @ 9:30 AM)

Fluttering flowers, creeping caterpillars, and odd shaped chrysalis—let’s read stories about Beautiful Butterflies and make a fun take-home craft.
