Free Summer Entertainment In Shamrock Park This Week

BEL AIR, MD — For those looking for free entertainment, there is plenty of it this week in Bel Air. Look no further than Shamrock Park.

The Summer Concert Series in Bel Air is set to feature its latest act on Wednesday, July 11. Duke Thompson & Friends will perform in the William A. Humbert Amphitheater.

The show runs from 7 to 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, at Shamrock Park at Hickory Avenue at Lee Street.

The free concert is sponsored by the Town of Bel Air as part of a concert series that runs Wednesdays and Sundays through Aug. 19.

Later in the week, don't be surprised to see Minions around Shamrock Park.

The latest feature in the Bel Air Downtown Alliance's Summer Movie Nights series is "Despicable Me 3."

The movie will play on Friday, July 13. The film will start at sunset.

The movie night event runs from 7:15 to 10 p.m. at Shamrock Park, at Hickory Avenue at Lee Street. There will be free popcorn and face painting.

During the movie night, food trucks will be parked on Lee Way from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 13.

Temperatures both Wednesday and Friday will be in the mid 80s during the day, with sunny skies, dropping to the mid 60s at night.
