Friends School of Harford First Lego League Goes to State
FLL Robotics team heads to the state competition on Feb. 28 at UMBC.

Friends School of Harford’s robotics team was selected as one of three regional teams to move on to the state competition on February 28, 2015 at UMBC.
The “Harford Bandits” competed in the First Lego League (FLL) qualifying round at Aberdeen Proving Ground on Jan. 24, along with 23 teams from Maryland. Under the FLL umbrella theme—“Learning Unleashed”—the team answered this question: “How can the classroom’s environment be modified to accommodate the learning needs of dyslexic students?”
The qualifying round required each team to present their project, complete specific missions using the robot, and participate in interviews with the judges.
