Giles Street Reopens To Traffic: Bel Air Police

Police said traffic was diverted temporarily Monday morning in Bel Air.

BEL AIR, MD — Police said that an accident temporarily closed Route 22 Monday morning in Bel Air. Officials said the accident occurred on Giles Street.

During the response, Route 22 east/Fulford Avenue was closed at Maitland Street, officials said.

Traffic was being diverted onto Maitland Street, and Giles Street at Fulford Avenue was also closed due to the incident, the Bel Air Police Department reported at 9:20 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19.

The road had reopened by 10 a.m., according to police.
