Good Samaritan Goose Rescuer Sought in White Marsh

The Avenue seeks name of person who rescued a goose recently.

As a rehabilitated goose makes its way back to the ponds of White Marsh, The Avenue is looking for the good Samaritan who helped the bird get started on the road to recovery.

Several months ago, a concerned citizen found a bird unable to stand or walk near the shopping center and took it to Phoenix Wildlife Center, according to a Facebook post from The Avenue.

While the rescuer called to check on the condition of the bird, nobody got her name.

“This goose is now ready for release at the pond on Town Center Drive, and we would like to invite her to be a part of it,” The Avenue said on Facebook.

“Please share and help us spread the word. If this very nice citizen is out there…we would love to say thank you!”
