Gun Show Coming to Bel Air This Weekend
Local conservation group sponsors event at the Bel Air Armory.
The gun show will be in town this weekend at the Bel Air Armory.
The Harford CountIy chapter of the Izaak Walton League is sponsoring the show, which runs from Friday through Sunday.
Firearms, knives, coins, decoys, books, outdoor wear and wartime memorabilia will be for sale.

The event is now in its 55th year, and last year attracted more than 2,000 people, The Aegis reported.
The gun show runs from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6; from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7; and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for those under 16.

Proceeds from the gun show go toward the Harford County Izaak Walton League’s conservation and education efforts. The group maintains 350 acres of marshland next to the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center. It reports that it has also provided more than $35,000 in scholarships to local students.
