Hamilton Bank Promotes Sarah Springer to Vice President - Operations

Hamilton Bank, a 100-year old community bank with four retail branches in Maryland, today announced the promotion of Sarah Springer to Vice President – Operations in its Technology and Support division.

Previously, Springer served as Hamilton Bank’s Assistant Vice President – Operations for eight years. As Vice President – Operations, Springer oversees the day-to-day activities of the bank‘s deposit and savings operations while supervising all deposit, savings and operations staff. Springer is responsible for planning and developing new deposit and savings banking products and services to meet market demands and bank objectives.

“Sarah’s promotion is well-deserved,” said Robert DeAlmeida, Hamilton Bank president. “Her hard work and experience serving various roles in banking departments has fostered an in-depth understanding of how a bank operates as a whole. This understanding is central to her role as Vice President – Operations.”

Springer has 27 years of community banking industry experience in various departments. She began her career as a teller for Parkville Savings & Loan Bank and ascended to a management role prior to joining Hamilton Bank in 1998 as Operations Specialist. Springer then became Operations Supervisor before being promoted to Assistant Vice President – Operations in 2007.

“It has been a pleasure serving on the Hamilton Bank team for the past 17 years,” said Springer. “I look forward to continuing to lead Hamilton’s deposit operations team and providing customers with excellent banking products and services.”
