Har-co Community Resource Center To Open In Bel Air Oct. 18
The Har-co Community Resource Center will open in downtown Bel Air Oct. 18 as a meeting place available to businesses and educational space.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Har-co Credit Union will officially open its new Har-co Community Resource Center at 54 E. Lee Street in downtown Bel Air Oct. 18.
The Resource Center idea began as an outgrowth of Har-co Credit Union's desire and commitment to support the community. Turning the building at 54 E. Lee - once used for storage - into a functioning and space for members has been a priority. The revitalized space will be used to support the community through a variety of initiatives including educational seminars focusing on financial literacy, homebuying support, fraud protection and more. Local businesses also can utilize the space to hold meetings.
“We have a member experience pledge here that every employee signs, which provides a blueprint to deliver an outstanding experience to our community,” said Gil Kennedy, president and CEO of Har-co Credit Union. “The new Resource Center elevates that pledge by providing sources of education to all of Harford County as well as a space for small organizations to convene when needed.”
